The family health journal
Your household's health, kept privately.
Medications, measurements, vaccines, appointments and documents for everyone you look after — including the pets. All of it on your device, none of it on ours.
Support
A real person answers these. If something is broken, confusing, or missing, tell us — it is a small enough product that your message actually changes it.
My reminders aren't arriving
Reminders are scheduled on your phone, so the phone has to be allowed to show them. Check that notifications are enabled for Domedica in your system settings and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't suppressing them. On Android, also exempt Domedica from battery optimisation — several manufacturers stop background alarms aggressively, and that setting is the usual culprit. If reminders still don't fire, email us with your phone model and OS version.
How do I set up a course like “three times a day for seven days”?
Open the medication, add a schedule, choose how many times a day and at which times, then set the duration to a fixed number of days. The schedule ends itself. For a treatment that runs in cycles — a fortnight on, a week off, repeating — choose the cyclic option instead and set the ON and OFF lengths; the preview shows you exactly which days will be active before you save.
I'm changing phones. How do I bring my records?
Use Settings → Export to produce a full ZIP of everything, keep it somewhere safe, and import it on the new phone. A standard device-to-device transfer or a restored system backup will usually carry Domedica across too, but the export is the version that doesn't depend on anyone else's backup working.
I bought Pro but it isn't unlocked
Open Settings → Domedica Pro and tap Restore Purchases, making sure you're signed in with the same App Store or Google account you bought with. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to that account, so it comes back on a new phone at no cost. If restoring doesn't work, send us the receipt from the store and we'll sort it.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment, not by us — Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through the Play Store's order history. If the reason is something broken in the app, tell us as well, so we can fix it.
Can my partner and I share a household?
Not yet. Today every profile lives on one phone, which is what makes the app fully offline. Shared households with reminders that fire on the right person's phone are planned as an optional, consent-based sync tier — and it will always be something you switch on, never a default.
I lost my phone. Can you recover my data?
No — and that is the honest cost of an app that keeps nothing about you. We hold no copy of your records, so there is nothing for us to restore. Export regularly; it takes a few seconds.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app. Its database goes with it, permanently. Individual records can be removed inside the app and sit in Recently Deleted for 30 days first, in case you change your mind.
Is Domedica medical advice?
No. It records what you tell it and gives it back to you clearly. It does not diagnose, interpret results or recommend doses, and the reference ranges shown on charts are general information only. Your clinician's instructions always come first.
Reporting a bug
Send us what happened, what you expected, your phone model, OS version and the app version from Settings → About. Screenshots help enormously — please blur anything you'd rather not share. Because nothing is reported automatically, a bug we aren't told about is a bug we don't know exists. Feature requests go to the same address and are genuinely read.
In an emergency
Domedica is a journal, not a medical service, and nobody monitors it. If you or someone in your household needs urgent care, call your local emergency number — 112 in Romania and across the EU.
Privacy Policy
Effective 1 September 2026 · Applies to the Domedica mobile app and this website.
The short version
- Domedica works entirely on your device. There is no account and no server holding your health records.
- We cannot see your data. Not your medications, not your measurements, not your documents — no copy of them ever reaches us.
- There are no analytics, no trackers, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs collecting anything.
- If you email support, we obviously see that email. That is the only routine way we come to hold information about you.
1. Who we are
Domedica is published by DAH Optim Consulting SRL, Romania (“we”, “us”). For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].
2. Where your health data lives
Everything you record in Domedica — profiles for your household and pets, medications and doses, schedules, measurements such as blood pressure or glucose, vaccinations, appointments, visits, dental and surgical records, episodes, notes, photographs and scanned documents — is written to an encrypted database in the app's private storage on your phone.
It is not uploaded. It is not synchronised. There is no “our servers” in this sentence, because there are none. In data-protection terms, you hold your own records; we are not processing them, because we never receive them.
Data leaves your device only when you deliberately send it somewhere: sharing an exported PDF or ZIP through your phone's share sheet, saving a file, or printing. Once you hand a file to another app or service, that app's own privacy terms apply to it.
One honest caveat: device backups
If you have iCloud Backup or Google backup switched on for your phone, your operating system may include Domedica's encrypted database in that backup. That is your device's backup, governed by Apple's or Google's terms — not ours, and still not visible to us. You can exclude it in your phone's settings, or use Domedica's own export instead.
3. What we actually receive
- Support correspondence. If you email us, we hold your address, your message and anything you attach, for as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of the exchange. Please do not send us medical documents — we do not need them to answer a support question.
- App Store reporting. Apple and Google give us aggregated, anonymous statistics about downloads, crashes and purchases. These come from the store, not from the app, and cannot identify you.
- Purchases. Buying Domedica Pro is a transaction between you and Apple or Google. They are the merchant; we receive settlement reports, never your payment details.
4. Health data and the GDPR
Health information is a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR and deserves the strongest protection. Our approach is architectural rather than promissory: the app is built so that we are structurally incapable of accessing it.
Where we do process personal data — your support emails, and the website — the legal bases are your consent in contacting us and our legitimate interest in running and supporting the product. Website server logs, if any, are handled by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
5. Records about other people
Domedica is built for households, so you will record information about family members, and often about children. Those records stay on your device under your control, and you are responsible for keeping them appropriately. Where a person is old enough to decide for themselves, please involve them. The app is not intended for use by children on their own, and it has no child-facing account, messaging or social feature.
6. Permissions the app asks for
- Camera — only to scan a document or photograph a record. Images are saved into the app's own storage.
- Photo library — only for images you choose to attach.
- Notifications — to deliver your medication and appointment reminders. These are scheduled locally on your device; there is no push server and we never send marketing notifications.
- Face ID / biometrics — to unlock the app. Your biometric data stays with the operating system and is never available to us.
7. Security
The database is encrypted at rest, and you can lock the app behind biometrics or a PIN. Deleted records go to a Recently Deleted area for 30 days before they are removed. Keeping your device itself secure — a passcode, current OS updates — matters as much as anything we do, because your device is where your records are.
8. Deleting everything
Deleting the app deletes its data with it — permanently, with no copy anywhere for us to restore. Export first if you want to keep a copy: Settings → Export produces a full ZIP of your records and documents, in open formats you can read without Domedica. To have support correspondence erased, email us.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. For your health records this is largely moot — they are already in your hands, and the export feature is portability by design. For support correspondence, write to us and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
10. Optional cloud sync, later
A future version will offer optional encrypted backup and multi-device sync. It will be off unless you turn it on, end-to-end encrypted so that we hold ciphertext we cannot read, and covered by an updated version of this policy published before the feature ships. Nothing you record today will start syncing because of an update.
11. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the effective date above and, for anything material, tell you in the app. Previous versions are available on request.
12. Contact

Terms of Use
Effective 1 September 2026 · DAH Optim Consulting SRL, Romania
Domedica is not a medical device
It is a journal: it records what you enter and presents it back to you. It does not diagnose conditions, interpret results, calculate or recommend doses, or decide anything about your treatment. Reference ranges shown alongside measurements are general information, not an assessment of your health. Never delay seeking care, and never change a treatment, because of something you read in this app.
1. These terms
By installing or using Domedica you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the app. Where you obtained the app through Apple's App Store, Apple's standard licensed-application end-user licence agreement also applies, and prevails over these terms wherever the two conflict.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Domedica on devices you own or control, for your own household's records. You may not resell it, rent it out, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law expressly permits, or strip out its branding.
3. Your records are yours
Everything you enter belongs to you and stays on your device. We claim no ownership of it and, as described in the Privacy Policy, we hold no copy. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record, for keeping exports safe, and for having the right to record information about other people in your household.
4. Backups are your responsibility
Because there is no server, a lost, stolen, broken or wiped device means lost records, and we cannot recover them. Use the export feature regularly and keep the file somewhere safe.
5. Reminders are best-effort
Medication and appointment reminders are scheduled through your operating system's notification services. Phones fail to deliver notifications for reasons outside our control — battery optimisation, Focus modes, forced restarts, time-zone changes, storage pressure. Treat reminders as a helpful prompt, never as a safety-critical alarm, and never as the only thing standing between you and a dose that matters.
6. Purchases
Domedica is free to use with some limits. Domedica Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that removes them for the app on the store account that bought it, with no recurring charge; “lifetime” means the lifetime of the product, and does not promise that any specific future feature will be included.
Payment, invoicing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google as the seller of record, under their terms. Any optional subscription introduced later will state its price, duration and renewal terms clearly before you buy, and will renew only until you cancel it in your store account.
7. Changes to the app
We improve the app over time, and features may change or be retired. If we ever discontinue Domedica, we will give reasonable notice and the export feature will keep working, so your records leave with you in open formats.
8. Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for decisions taken on the basis of information shown in the app. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and none of it affects your mandatory rights as a consumer under Romanian and EU law.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting the app. We may withdraw the licence if it is used unlawfully or in a way that damages the service or other people.
10. Law and contact
Romanian law applies, without prejudice to the protections of the country you live in. Questions: [email protected]. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
